A strong component of Paramount Charter Academy is the involvement of all of our parents. We hope to see you often at the school. Parents are always welcome in our building. There are several areas in which parents can be an integral part of the school. Some of these include:

• Classroom help
• School committees
• Lunch supervision
• Recess supervision
• Office help
• After-school tasks
• Field trips

One of our most important ways to get involved is through the Paramount Family Council. This council is committed to being a positive influence in our school. Our membership includes all parents, legal guardians, and staff at Paramount Charter Academy.

The Family Council encourages a close relationship between home and school by providing opportunities for all members to become involved in the Paramount Charter Academy community. The team effort of the Family Council offers an avenue for you to become directly involved in the learning environment of our students.

The Family Council sponsors assistance to teachers within the classroom setting, raises funds for supplemental educational materials and experiences, contributes to facility improvements, supports school and family social interaction, and provides a forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children.

All family members are welcome to attend monthly meetings. The detailed meeting schedule and locations are available in the school office or on the school calendar.

We make writing a top priority with Think Maps and Higher Order Thinking.
Our teachers provide many opportunities for parents and family members to be in the classroom.
