These words summarize the philosophy of Paramount Charter Academy. Our purpose is realized by successfully providing all students with a focused learning environment through a challenging curriculum, and by incorporating character development and developing personal responsibility. This realization is most effectively accomplished in partnership with the home and the community. In keeping with our purpose, every daily action is geared toward this mission.
Paramount Charter Academy Motto:

Each morning 1st-5th graders gather in the school’s gymnasium for a morning assembly. At that assembly our Principal, Dr. Lockett-Gibson takes the children through a series of affirming and teaching procedures. The students recite the Pledge of Allegiance, the Paramount Creed, the Student Creed, and the Moral Character Focus of the Month, including a definition and a practical application. The children are led in a couple of songs highlighting school or personal pride. The students recite:
“I watch my thoughts because my thoughts become my words. I watch my words because my words become my actions. I watch my actions because my actions become my habits. I watch my habits because my habits become my destiny." Destiny means: "The future events of my life."

Mrs. Cleveland's Class Mission:
We, the third graders of Mrs. Cleveland's class, will work together as a team, try our best, and follow directions this year. We will prepare ourselves for fourth grade by doing our work with quality, treating our friends and teachers with respect, and giving our best effort.
